Five Oklahoma state parks are located in the Grand Lake area offering plenty of activities for youth to work off energy. In addition to swimming and fishing in the lake, hiking trails and overnight camping spots, Honey Creek State Park located in Grove on State Park Road, has a swimming pool as well. They can be reached at (918) 786-9447.
Nearby, the thrill of hiking under a waterfall and over a hanging bridge can be enjoyed at Natural Falls State Park on Highway 412 near Kansas, Oklahoma, south of Grove.

If you’ve had enough fun in the sun for one day, or if the weather isn’t cooperating, head inside to some fun and interesting local attractions. Visit Starbird’s National Rod & Custom Car Museum, or take in a movie at the Cinema 6 in Grove.
The Grand Lake Visitor Center on Highway 59 offers a history of the lake and a three-dimensional map showing the entire lake, and the Grand River Dam Authority offers daily tours of the Pensacola Dam. Back to top
Immediately below the Grand Lake Dam in Disney you can experience some of the best rock crawling in the country on a nationally recognized destination for four-wheelers. Vehicles must have a roll bar sufficient to support the weight of the vehicle, and seat belts for each passenger. Camp grounds, cabins, picnic areas and restrooms are available.
